Hello There :)

The name is Alanah, and I'm from Canada.

Things that make me think twice and experience the moment are what I try to achieve in my photography.

I love french.And music

Sometimes I think I have a strong grasp of what life is, but then I grasp onto something else, so it's easier just to live it

Walking down a crowded street makes me think the most, because ever single person I see has their own story

Poetry is the greatest form of writing in my eyes, and is equivilant to photography, only in words

I fell in love with photography and I'm still in love with photography, and I love experimenting with macro, portraits and abstract photography.

If you have any questions, just send me a note or email at wawa.photography@gmail.com :)

Apparently hurricane Bill was supposed to be a hurricane. I think not.

Well, it's here to go, not to stay. Just wind and rain. No hurricane. Just nature letting it ALL out. But what is it letting out?

I'm ill. Not deadly.

I haven't had the motivation to reply to alot of stuff lately. I should. But I'm feeling more disconnected from the world now. The stupid thing is that the only way to feel connected with the WORLD is to use technology (which has nothing to do with the world) and have the world come to you, right in your living room or while you sit in front a screen. I'd rather go to the world rather then it come to me.

I've been fingerpainting. What a strange way to paint, yet more expressive then with paintbrushes.

Maybe if I put spicy salsa in my eyes I'd feel more alive.

I extremely love the camera. I love. it. One of the great things about it is you can also edit pictures on it, it's extremeky useful. The swivel screen can me useful at times too for things that are low or high. Lots of modes, you can also take videos so that's a bonus. The flash works pretty good. There's a website that show's you some of the features and how to control the camera too : [link] very useful :) and the lenses I have from the camera kit are an AF-s Nikkor 18-55 mm camera :)

Sure :)

I'm just starting to use the photoshop myself, making portraits look like they were done with some old Russian camera or something :)) The close-up/detail approach, it makes up for almost a whole secret or a story, the way you do it :)
:iconbridgetcross:
Good luck :) and thanks
